After each online lesson you will complete a simple quiz testing your knowledge of the information you just learnt. Quizzes are fun and interactive with a combination of multiple choice, drag and drop and fill in the blanks questions. You will be graded as soon as you complete the online quiz, a successful mark allows you to continue on with your coursework, a fail requires you to go back and revisit this information before moving on.
In addition to your online work and face-to-face repertoire days, you will need to work through your self mastery, observation and assistant teaching hours. These hours can be done at a Pilates Education Affiliate studio under the watchful eye of your mentor. The required number of hours depends on the course you are completing, we recommending starting these hours as soon as possible to build your skills and confidence as an instructor.
Once you have completed all your modules for the course you are taking you will need to complete your final exam to gain your full Pilates certificate. This exam will be a combination of teaching, self mastery demonstration and a written assignment. Your final exam will usually be conducted in small groups as a round robin teaching segment, the written component is completed individually and is a closed book programming task.
